Yeah Jason Priest, That Camera is On

Embattled GOP legislative candidate Jason Priest, at a speech to local Tea Partiers captured on video below, makes it pretty clear why he’s a bad choice for the Montana Legislature.  Here’s Jason Priest, in his own words, starting at about 40 seconds in:

I live in Red Lodge where I’m that guy that nobody agrees with, and I don’t mind. It helps me. I have to talk to them about things that are important to them in ways that aren’t offensive to them.  That’s a good lesson to learn. I would rather tell them that they’re insane….is that camera on?

The thing is, if Jason Priest is “that guy that nobody agrees with” in Red Lodge, perhaps he is not the best choice to represent Red Lodge in the Montana legislature.

Just more proof that Aaron Kampfe needs to win this Senate race. He’s got a huge team of volunteers and is running a great campaign, but he’s running in a tough district where every vote and every dollar count.

We don’t need another TEA Party activist in the Montana Senate.

Whats the big deal. He was speaking off the cuff and trying to have fun. I hope he does alright in the election.

What’s the big deal? A lot of things. To start, Priest doesnt care about Montanans. Or Montana for that matter. He and his New York City investors care about he $$$ that can be made by having Mr. Priest influence Montana law.

One example would be this company of Jason’s. Medipent LLC. in which they buy the debt or provide guaranteed payments to hospitals for access to the unpaid accounts. Some experts say this gives them more reason to aggressively pursue patients in arrears. Auctions can drive up the amount paid for debt, meaning a collector must recoup more money from patients to cover its initial investment and turn a profit. And the winning bidders often get to keep all the money they collect on the auctioned debt.

Good point Keys, you think he’s going to be representing the interests of everyday Montanans or the big corporations that line his pockets. Of course he doesn’t care if everyone disagrees with him. He’s not in it for the voters.

Are you sure he has no connections with high-pressure marketing firm PMI in Utah? Hmm….

This guy is disgusting in so many ways. Let me share a little episode of his “behavior” from the past legislative session.

A Native American speaker gave an approximately 1-hour speech to a joint session one afternoon. Shortly thereafter, this jack-wipe was spouting off in the hall about how boring it all was.

I wish I had punched him in the face, but I was with ladies.
