AG Bullock Walks the Walk

Montana’s Attorney General Steve Bullock has a record of standing up for people of all income levels, that’s probably part of why he wanted become our Attorney General — to run the agency in charge of protecting Montana consumers.   So when Steve sets up an economic forum, like the one he’s putting on October 13th in Missoula, it is refreshing to see that it will focus on what changes in the financial sector at the national level will mean for  Montanans, rather than billionaires.

As the Missoulian reports:

The conference will feature a number of national speakers including Federal Trade Commissioner Julie Brill, U.S. Sen. Jon Tester, and author and former New York Times journalist Gary Rivlin.

It’s also nice to see that the conference will also include an in-depth panel on Initiative 164, the ballot initiative we’re voting on this cycle that would limit the interest charged on payday loans to 36 percent.  We see a lot of politicians endorsing the initiative these days, which is good, but Steve Bullock, and to some extent Sen. Tester who is also participating, shows he means it by helping to provide information to consumers beyond the sound bites and the publicity hits we’ve seen from others.

Saw Bullock at the Montana League of cities and towns conference last week in Butte. He’s defending Montana law in the face of the Supreme Court decision to treat corporations like individuals as far as campaign contributions. He’s got some great ideas to combat prescription drug abuse, and he’s also got some great ideas to combat Montana’s huge problem with repeat drunk drivers. I’m sure he’ll have some great input for this conference as well. Go, Steve!

I only hope this cowgirl did her homework. Steve Bullock has threatened citizens who try to recall his friends, or law enforcement in office. Take the Lincoln Co. effort: Bullock wanted a culpability agreement: the recall citizens could be put in jail if they were wrong. Sound like the protected right to petition your government? Thats right, Montana is ranked LAST for justice in the lower 48, and Steve Bullock wants to keep it that way–lets mine the people–the last best Treasure in Montana.
As soon as any AG in Montana stops abusive, corrupt law enforcement perhaps we will enjoy being the second best place to get away with crime. Bullock is the educated bully, with a native to Montana stamp of approval.

Montana is ranked LAST for justice in the lower 48,

By whom? That’s a pretty explosive charge to be making with no support, teabagger.

I like my tea in bags, and in hot water; I like independence from judgmental people who think Bullock is a good guy. Email him at sbullock@mt.gov, ask for help, see how fast you land in jail, lose your job, and or harassed by his law enforcement..good support?

    Dear Mr. Kailey,

Some outfit called the US JUSTICE DEPARTMENT. I guess you never heard of a Chief Justice from the US, Canada, a Justice of the Supreme Court, AND an Attorney General speaking within 4 years, its not the scenery they came to Montana, its that we don’t uphold the constitution, and its easy for Bullock to oversee the worst law enforcement in the nation. Lets make him Governor!!

Montanastan has no other product than to mine the cash for crime system. Just like the dirty judge in Scranton PA, Montanastan doesnt miss a thing. Steve Bullock is the head cover up position to keep it well oiled. Ravalli County, Hamilton is the perfect example of how bad this so called state really is. There is nothing in this county that is remotely legal or constitutional. The connection between Bullock, former tyrant George Corn, and max Obaucus glaringly shows the Democrat stranglehold on freedom in this place. It is definitely a giant Indian Reservation where all people are treated equally, no rights, no justice, nothing. It is definitely the last worst place. Missoula’s Jim Messina sits in the White House making sure that the rest of America get’s a lethal taste of how we live. A drunken Max Baucus speaking to the Senate tells everything you need to know. Is the Cowgirl a Cross Dresser? Be very careful that is very illegal in Montanstan.
