There was a time when all candidates running for an elected position would take seriously the Oath of office to act with fidelity–an obligation to be honest and to not purposefully and maliciously distort the truth to fit one’s political schemes.
Kavulla seeks our approval to take this oath, but then pens what has been called “a pathetic work of fiction” in the Great Falls Tribune. The Intermountain Energy Blog has the analysis, and an entreaty for said candidate to “please stop lying:”
Your editorial yesterday in the Great Falls Tribune is a pathetic work of fiction. Typically, I would dismiss it as just some person picking numbers to fit political needs. But you know better. You went to Harvard.
Considering this stunning lack of honest analysis, we can expect that this latest move is not the end of Kavulla’s numbers games. If voters allow Republicans to take back control of the PSC with Brad Molnar as Chair, this guy will be bowling them all over with a storm of deceptive numbers, because he’ll clearly do “whatever it takes” to make his political points. And that’s why he’s the GOP Hypocrite of the Week.
