However, Ryan Zinke’s name is listed in a Skees ad as a supporter. This is in this week’s Whitefish Pilot

If he’s listed as a supporter in the ad, why isn’t he underlining his support with a ringing endorsement in his oped? He didn’t need to write the oped. The safe move for a Republican office holder is endorsing Skees, then saying nothing more. The oped was written to send a message, and that message was not “vote for Derek.”

I suspect that a lot of Republicans learned only last week that Skees understanding of the Civil War is not mainstream. Zinke is a Republican, but he’s no fool. And as an ex-naval officer who, in the course of his duties, handled race related matters every day of his career, he undoubtedly has no illusions about Skees’ fitness to serve in the legislature.

Im not suprised Ryan Zinke is what I call a main street Republican still reasonable, when you start mixing main steet Republicans, libertarian Republicans, evangelical Christian Republians and teabaggers together the big tent will soon come down on them

The Skeester is an asshole! ANYone who wears a Confederidiot flag is an asshole! It’s that simple! Look. We kicked their asses once. We’ll do it again if we have to! But slavery is NOT comin’ back into fashion! Get over it, Skeester. You lost, loser! I’m thinkin’ that maybe the Skeester otter head his ass on BACK down to Florida! They might be more receptive to racist retards! (Can you play the banjo, dude?) Take Pukin’ Blue (the singin’ twins) WITH you!

Folks-I drove by Ryan Zinke’s house in Whitefish about a month ago and he had both a Hammerquist and Skees sign on his front lawn. He is hedging, quite clear. Why? Because Skees is out there. Way out there. Zinke is a moderate.
