     Spent some time today visiting with an older ranch woman from north of Loma. We got to talking about the Tester Dopey Reeburp matchup. Turns out she loves Tester, but can’t STAND Dopey. She considers him a no good phony. I was encouraged to hear a real ranch woman saying these things. Dopey’s ranching background is simply pure bullshit. And everyone knows it. They don’t LIKE the Dopester passing himself off as an ag guy.

    I was able to make the rally. As we lined the Senate Gallery, the noted Senator Taylor Brown was using his silver tongue to run the floor debate. When a samll number of people liked the way a floor vote had gone, they clapped. Ol Taylor Brown yelled into the microphone that he wouldn’t tolerate any outburst of emotion. If it happened again, he’d have the guard clear the gallery. He looked around and said, “I can and will do it.”

    Of course we had to try not to laugh. He looked al red faced and rediculous.
