GOP Leading Man is a Bit Crusty

The Republican party’s leading man is a bit crusty, to the point that he’s all excited about the fact that he has sent out an email.  From that email:

When I last ran for public office over ten years ago, the Internet was still fairly new, and the social media revolution was in its infancy.  But I’m excited to get to try new things with this campaign, and I’ve made it my goal to be on the cutting edge of technology this election cycle.  It is my goal to be the candidate all others are trying to catch up to in our online presence.  I want the most Facebook friends, the most Twitter followers, the most subscribers to my blog, and most importantly, I want to raise the most money online.

Hill’s continual image makeover routine is already tired to the rest of us.  But Hill is ecstatic.   He wants us to spread the word he has even updated his new website,  where one can find super-cool information about how he, too, was a wrestler, no doubt a wise strategic move to compete with primary opponent, most inspirational wrestler Corey Stapelton.

Hill even tries to insert his twee new branding into his campaign disclaimer:

Paid for by A Lot of Folks for Rick Hill, Republican.

This reminds me of how AIG discovered that its name was associated with bad behavior and thought that the solution is to change the name. Will the Hill now be known as “The Cool Dude Full of Awesomeness?”

Hill’s giddy email about how he’s has discovered exciting technology that used to be new can be viewed below the fold.

Dear Friend:

I’m very pleased to announce the launch of our new web site at:

Over the weekend we launched a new web site, a new Facebook page, and a new Twitter feed.  I need your help to get the word out to start building our presence.

Please forward this email liberally.  Please go to your own Facebook networks and suggest they join me.  Please spread the word in every way you know how and let’s show Montana how an online campaign is run!

  1. Am I impressed? Enough that I want to send some money to his opponent, whoever that will be!

NOT AGAIN! National news for wacko Spear Man this time. When will they stop going on TV?!

  3. We like to refer to his little (and I mean TINY) fan club as “Not a lot of folks for Rick Hill”. We called him out on his ridiculous self-aggrandizing group title months ago after he suddenly removed the group’s Facebook profile when the total fans peaked at 72.

Much of his support on the right is reluctant, but apparently the party’s memories are short, conveniently forgetting about his infidelity at the Sip & Dip in Great Falls (the epitome of class), the time he pitched a letter opener at a congressional staffer while throwing a typical Hill tantrum, his sudden departure from politics, his “retirement” which apparently means being a LOBBYIST, his pathetic Freedom Index ratings, and his sickeningly arrogant boasting….. among other qualities. Hill is the last thing Montana needs, he should have remained in retirement. If he is our nominee, I will not be voting for him.

  4. Who cares how many facebook friends you have, or twiter followers, or blog readers, what counts is VOTES ON ELECTION DAY. Plain and simply, he could have 17yr olds folllowing him, he could have 5yr olds giving him money, but what counts is votes on election day. And I still have some faith in the voters of Montana.

Perhaps the Koch Party can loan him their ‘playbook’ just like they’ve done for Koch’ster Scott Walker who’s out to mess with
my union buddy’s pension in Madison, a combat veteran and retired cop and soldier……….

If it weren’t for the Koch (and Freedom Works, I can barely get that phrase out of my lips, for all their hypocrisy) Boyz, the ‘baggers’ wouldn’t have been so worked up, and gone back to
their ‘comfort zone’ of FEDERAL (socialized) benefits of medicare, medicaid, USDA SUBSIDIES, and VA disability payments, and as one who does draw that, I’m not yelling ‘Secede, don’t take
those corrupt Yankee dollars’ like our Koch-ster legislators are
    screaming about.

  6. Such hate. Thanks for the links. I used it to friend his campiagn and make a contribution. You and ‘Festo protest too much and in doing so show just how scared and desperate you are to tear down a more than qualified candidate.

  7. Dream on Rick. Dream. On.
