The Montana GOP Hypocrite of the Week Award Goes to…
…Montana’s Millionaire Congressman Dennis Rehberg, who just before voting against ending giveaways to Big Oil CEOs, tried to revive old debates on ‘welfare reform’.In classic hypocritical fashion, Congressman Rehberg thinks job-creating Pell Grants are ‘welfare’ and wants to gut them. He’s already tried to deny Montana $15 million (with an ‘m’) in Pell Grants.
But when it comes to billions in unnecessary subsidies for Big Oil CEOs, it is definitely NOT ‘welfare’, and Rehberg wants to keep them in place. Ending the subsidies would have saved $20 billion(with a ‘b’).
Why does Congressman Rehberg hold Big Oil CEOs to a different standard than Montana students?
Because his ‘longtime friends’ in Big Oil have given him nearly $300,000 over the course of his long career in Washington DC., and because that’s what hypocrites do. For these reasons, Congressman Rehberg is being honored as the Montana Cowgirl Blog’s GOP hypocrite of the week. Go ahead and toast your award Congressman. We suggest cheap industrial cooking whisky. You deserve it.
Perhaps Mr Rehberg was denied a Pell Grant when he was going to college and it is simply churlishness taking hold to say “If I can do it without a handout, so can everyone else.”
I try to imagine a world where he actually lives in reality. Then I wake up and realize it’s 10 a.m. on Rapture day and I might have set my standards too high. Maybe I’d just better hope he doesn’t get dust on his pretty hat that looks like it never gets worn other than to take a picture to make him look folksy.
That $300K is a lot like that iceberg floating in the North Atlantic…..just the tip, but what’s underneath it is where all the damage is done.

Hypocrite of the weeks seems a bit weak for Dofous Denny, shouldn’t you give him a bigger award like say Hypocrite of the Year of something?
Big Oil, King Koal and Wall Street the TRUE ‘welfare queens’ of America and maybe Denny can ask for donations from the ‘slacker’ students who now are being compelled to pay big hikes in tuition
thanks to Denny’s Tea/Koch buddies in the legislature that failed
to support education and the bonding bill.

If there’s a soft target out there somewhere, by God Dopey will find it, attack it, and KILL it if possible. He’s that tuff! He would’a been a navy seal exCEPT that when he got sh*tfaced drunk and tried PLAYING a navy seal with his pals, he ended up on the rocks! They were playing search and destroy, and they only managed to get the DESTROY part right! It’s just damn lucky that he didn’t kill an aide in the process! And now, Dopey’s gone total Aynus Rant on us. He has a new paradigm. He feels that now he’s legitamized. He’s been emPOWERED by the Asses Plugged movement! Now, Dopey can identify the moochers v. the producers, and be justified in doing so!
Students, along with black single mothers, are moochers and must be held accountable! Dopey’s an Anynus navy seal so to speak, (albiet a drunkin’ seal), and he’s a heat-seeking, moocher-seeking missEYE-el! He’s honin’ in on all them commie moochers out there!
So, all you students, forget about moochin’. Kneel at that feet of the Dopester, and beg his approval of your pell grant. King Dopey, the drunken barking seal, fire dept. suer, might just vouchsafe a grant for you IF you kiss his ring, watch the movie Asses Plugged ten times, pledge allegiance to the Big Kockhs, take a loyalty oath, and show the proper un-moocher attitude!

If Bachmann or Palin runs maybe Denny will be the VP, he fits in well with the Bunch “Today, there is a theme growing that I believe speaks volumes and that is: these republicans are all talk– no courage, no action.
