Your Tax Dollars At Work…Chasing Black Helicopters for the Montana GOP

Perennial losing candidate Republican Patty Lovaas, the source of the Montana’s GOP’s ‘proof’ of voter fraud in Montana, made yet ANOTHER ridiculous fraud claim. This time, KAJ reports that Lovaas alleges that a conspiracy is afoot that:

defrauded 700,000 property owners of $252 million by manipulating the property appraisal software.

Pogie at Intelligent Discontent had a great write-up on Lovaas’ other recent fraud claim,  recently tossed out by yet another court, but I couldn’t resist adding a few points after this latest claim.

Remember, this is the person the GOP trots out any time they want to raise the specter of voter fraud.  Republicans, you’ll recall, claim that voter fraud is the reason they must pass their vote suppression bills.

Lovaas’ ridiculous fraud allegations have gotten so bad that even the courts have pointed out that she’s wasting public resources. Apparently , the Republicans have no problem spending public funds to chase black helicopters. From the most recent dismissal:

Her repeated filings, however, consume inordinate resources and time, both from the Secretary of State and the Judicial system, resources and time that would be better devoted to the duties with which those offices are charged.

So next time the GOP starts screeching about “voter fraud” consider the source.

The court is frankly mystified by Lovaas’ actions in this regard….. Lovaas is either unwilling or unable to understand what is being told to her by these courts.

In fact, if she keeps it up, the court may consider “sanctions against Lovaas as may be appropriate.”

Further, any further pro se [acting as her own attorney] filings by Lovaas with regard to these matters will be viewed as vexations and harassing.

  1. I think there is room for her and Mike Spreadbury both to work on Derek Skees’ next campaign. Co-campaign managers to keep our precious bodily fluids pure.

  2. Here is yet anther example of the Repubs using completely non credible sources for their claims. Lovaas boarders on insane. It calls into question everything else they crow about.

  3. If I win, the election was legit. If I lose–and since I am the god-given choice of all right-thinking Amuricans–it must be voter fraud.

Or the electorate isn’t as stupid as Ms. Lovaas.

  4. Another witless Idiot for the GOP machine. After watching their fallout of BS after the Presidents speech! I find that they are completely UN-American! The GOP will rail against anyone who doesn’t have their backs, while they destroy the Democracy and freedom in this country!

  5. I’d like to see a Brain scan of Ms Lovaas to see if she really believes or is just on Koch’s Payroll

DOPEY’S ON IT! Not to worry, folks. Sure, the economy’s in the sh*tter, and folks are losing everything, and there aren’t enough jobs, and no one has heath care, and the military/industrial/Kockh complex rolls merrily along looking for new wars to waste gazillions on, and the corpos keeping frackint the sh*t outta every last remaining aquifer and building horrendous pipelines to help destroy what’s left, but not to worry, Dopey Reeburp is right on TOP of things. What is Dopey worried about? You guessed it. NATIONAL MONUMENTS! Wow. What a guy that Dopey is. If there’s a non-issue out there, Dopey will find it!

SAY WHAT? Well, good that they’re not even trying to hide it any more.

Many of you folks out there are unAmerican! I know I am. I am a drain on society.

NEVER FORGET! If you just about lost your cookies reading and watching all the media whoring about 9-11 like I did, this should help. Hell, the GF Spitoon was probably the worst offender. The Spitoon has NO shame. Is is REALLY news to interview nearly everyone in town about their reaction to the anniversary? What a joke.

    • larry…

Cheney. Nuff said. The exact SAME nazi who authorized the unauthorized misplacement of six nukes. Absolutely NO WAY you misplace one nuke, or six, and fly them across the country.. Doesn’t happen. And buildings don’t implode from an airplane strike, NOR do buildings fall down the next day for nothing.

        • so…
how do they sell the “official conspiracy theory” to joe bonehead?

Conditiong, pure and simple. Been doin’ this for a long time beginning with the CIA’s coup on Kennedy. After that, they just a’kept on a’goin’. They loaded the gubmint with criminals. Nixon was very good at this. Do the names Hadlerman, Erlichman, etc., ring a bell?

Oh, and Bush. Bush was there in the beginning with Allen Dulles and the boys. The CIA, my friend, is in complete control. Oh, with the plutocrats blessing of course. Nuthin’ happens withou the Big Kockh approval. Are you familiar with daddy Kockh and his establishment of the john birch society? It’s now mainstream. Hell, ft benton had a “freedumb” parade. Nuff said.

And the GF Spitoon featured a pic of a nine yr old boy marching in his finest “young marines” outfit. Yippers. Bout complete I’d say. Ever heard of the Young Marines? Me neither. Good to start’em young. Lots of ragheads to slaughter and so little time. I think it’s a good idea to startin’ early!

Not to worry. Seems that lots of folks are actually WILLING to bankrupt all our social programs to fight senseless wars. And there’s plenty of Pubbies to do just that. But HEY, the great thing is that they’ll give you a little chinese flag to wave instead of your social security! And maybe a Lee Greenturd song about proud to be a Murcan!!

  10. If the Democrats would seriously go after REAL voter and election fraud all across the country, REALLY COMMITTED by Republicans, starting with Wakeesha County Wisconsin and the tampered with votes and make it illegal for any county clerk to use personal computers to record votes with no access for others and make jail mandatory for those who commit the fraud, a person who has committed the same fraud at least 3 times, proven, and still has her job, just maybe Republicans will learn they can’t continue to get away with using this accusation to cover their own crimes in EVERY SINGLE ELECTION.
If they would DEMAND accountability for crooked judges and all law breakers, 90 percent committed by RepubliCONS making HUGE fines and jail mandatory maybe we could put a stop to it once and for all. And DEMAND the destruction of all “voting machines” and go back to paper ballots with 24/7 independent guarding of those ballots until counting, by independent counters, city or county clerks not allowed present at their own precincts, completely finished.
And if the so-called MSM would stop spouting the party line and really report the voter fraud BY the very people who claim others are doing it and find the definition of truth in the encyclopedia and make sure they understand it and start telling it, we might have a chance to educate all those sheep who only “know” what they’re told to “know”.
I think it’s time for all voters to get together and make some real, biting, rules and get them on the ballots across the country. All parties should be agreeable because we ALL want honest elections and RepubliCONS across the country have convinced their voters that voter fraud is real so they should want safeguards as well as Democrats do.

    • ln:

      well said.
both parties, and all the corpse-rats, benefit from the existing system.
educated voters would represent a threat to both agendas.
the current system hardly unites the people in their own interest.
so, in all likelihood, the themo-craps and republi-cons will press happily on.
