That moron Glenn Beck was on the radio yesterday talking about how there is no such thing as a hate crime because every crime is about expressing hate. First of all, utterly not true. Some people are murdered because the person intends to steal their wallet or car. Others are murdered by their husband because he is angry that the person left them.

His intellect lacks the processing capacity I guess to realize that hate crime statutes are necessary because the failure to recognize and effectively address this type of crime could cause an isolated incident to explode into widespread community tension–and more violence.

This is why the whole LGBT proposed ordinance in Helena is such a terrible idea. It gives one special group the ability to lie about someone they don’t like, with the potential to ruin people’s lives.

I was in Costco with my wife the other day, when a couple of gays tried to cut over from another checkout line into our line. My wife refused to move. They were obviously seething.

If there were a LGBT ordinance on the books, those rump wranglers could have turned us in for being anti-gay, and we would likely be in jail, for if its their word versus our word, the poor persecuted minority is obviously in the right.

This coming from the guy who lied as a reporter, about his own name, and said he was Joe Turner to scam an interviewee and was run out of Idaho. Google “Joe Turner, Dustin Hurst Idaho” for the stories.
