University Of Phoenix

This time of year, many Montanans consider themselves Cats or Griz – but in the gubernatorial contest, it looks like there may be a couple of University of Phoenix fans in the mix.

Today it was reported that the Libertarian candidate, Ron Vandevender, has received his “certificate in business management and finance through home schooling.”

And after he quit Congress, Rick Hill got a degree from the “online law school program” at Concord Law School in Los Angeles – which is not an accredited school.

It seems as Bullock is the odd man out – actually getting college degrees from schools at which you  actually had to show up for class.

Going to an accredited school makes you a snob? Bullshit. I went to MSU Northern and so because its accredited I’m snobbish? Puh-lease.

*For Profit* schools are, are by definition, for profit. In other words, if you attend one, you are purchasing your credentials. It doesn’t mean you haven’t earned them or are not worthy of them; but it sure as hell means that no one reviewed the result.

Examples of unaccredited schools: Liberty University, Bob Jones University, Bethel School of Supernatural Minisrty.

Examples of accredited schools: U of M, Carroll College, and yes, even MSU : )

Education is the key to the future. A real education is a key to a real future.

No wonder Hill wants to divert the public’s tax money away from public eduction and TOWARD tuition support for so-called “private” education. Perhaps he could have had tuition help when he was paying his diploma mill for a “law” degree.
