The son of the judge who who issued the order that struck down’s Montana campaign donations as unconstitutional is a major donor to Rick Hill, the Republican candidate for Governor in Montana.
Follow the Money.org shows that Judge Charles Lovell’s right-wing nutjob son, Lance Lovell, gave Rick Hill $1000 this year. Here’s the screenshot.
Lance Lovell isn’t just a major donor to Hill. He also spends his days representing the Montana GOP in frivolous lawsuits as well as defending wealthy out-of-state landowners who try to keep fly fisherman out of rivers that they have a constitutional right to fish.
On Oct. 9, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said Lovell’s decision was wrong and reinstated the campaign contribution limits. The Billings Gazette reported today that Hill is now asking Lovell to stop the restraining order issued by Judge Seeley so that he may spend his illegal money on campaign ads.
Lance Lovell has worked tirelessly to end public ownership of Montana’s waterways.
He is trying to bend the state’s constitution to support privatizing our water like a third world country, so corporations can sell it, market it, or charge you for the energy produced from it. He is going to be around for along time doing this.
Lance skipped the State after a health scare. He isnt exactly in Triathlete shape. He is a salaried mouth piece for some rich media mogul in Atlanta nw.

Before you all get too mouthy and shot your own candidate square in his rumpus you should know that one of Bullock’s Deputy Assistants is Lovell’s son-in-law.
The point is that he is his son, and doing bad things. Not simply that Lance Lovell and Charles Lovell’s son. Sheesh!
