Exposing Racism of GOP Chair’s Post Prompts Hate Mail

by Cowgirl

Seems not everyone was thrilled to have a racist Facebook post from the Chair of the Yellowstone County Republican Party exposed to public view.

The Cowgirl blog has received some hate-mail from angry GOP-ers in response to this Cowgirl post.  The post featured a screenshot of a Facebook item posted by the county chair Jennifer Olsen of a watermelon/animal trap for a black person.

Jan Tessier sent me this:

You are a racist bitch. Please drink yourself to death. Or better yet—Just leave the planet.

And here’s Wade Briggs:

You’re a douchebag. Who could possibly be proud of you?  Including yourself.  Barf, barf, barf!

Racist pig!

Meanwhile, the list of those speaking out against the Republican leader’s acts continues to grow. Olsen has not apologized nor been asked to step down.

  1. Bwahahaha! How do catch a racist Moron?

Easy. You simply leave a racist joke laying around! Works every time! These teatards like Jennifer oilscum simply can’t HELP themselves! Ya don’t even need a watermelon and a box!

  2. The Olsen tweet is one of the dumbest remarks any politician could possibly make. It shows a real lack of racial sensitivity. People that put errant thoughts on twitter or facebook are just asking for trouble. However, I have to wonder how this silly tweet even begins to compare to those that voted against civil rights legislation. Why did Mansfield, Church, Kennedy, Humphrey, Jackson, and Magnuson vote Nay? http://www.govtrack.us/congress/votes/85-1957/s66

    • Retro man! He’s like a bubble in a piss pot. He’s here, there, EVERYWHERE!!!!

      Goofy arguement. Sorry.

    • Craig, did you bother to check your link? Apparently not. You linked to the vote to *consider* the Civil Rights Act. And both john Kennedy and Mike Mansfield voted “YEA”. Care to try again?

      • Oh looky here! Here’s the final Senate vote on the Civil Rights Act, and Kennedy and Mansfield and Murray voted a big old YES!

Craig, at this point, I really don’t know what the fuck! you thought you were writing about.

      • Rob, I did but completely effed up on pointing out the Dems that voted against it. I’ve been meaning to get to the eye doctor. More reason now than ever.

        • Your eyesight was likely not the problem, Craig. It was your will to show that Demoncrats are really the racists. Why you would lie so blatantly is still a mystery, except it’s not. You are a partisan, lying your ass off for the Republicants and claiming infirmity when shown to be obviously wrong.

          • No lies. My eyes are going bad. I suspect cataracts. Will know soon after my ophthalmologist visit.

The roots of racism go deep in this country. When Johnson was pushing the 1964 Civil Rights Act he couldn’t find the Dems to pass it…so he turned to Republicans for help. But way before Johnson, I believe not one congressional Dem voted for the 14th or 15th amendments, or the 1875 Civil Rights Act. When Johnson was a senator he was noted for saying, “These Negroes, they’re getting pretty uppity these days and that’s a problem for us since they’ve got something now they never had before, the political pull to back up their uppityness. Now we’ve got to do something about this, we’ve got to give them a little something, just enough to quiet them down, not enough to make a difference>” http://theblacksphere.net/2011/04/stomping-on-eggshells/ For Dems to take an eraser to their historic past is rather telling. Just doesn’t work.

            • Retro Man strikes again! Come ON, Craig! Bullshit in defenese of racism is STill bullshit! The OIlscums are racist assholes! The teatards are nuthin’ butt racist assholes! There is NO Dem equivalent and you know it!

Craig is one of those people in a political party who thinks nothing of photo-shopping in more people to empty Romney events. to make him look like he was adored by the ever dwindling fateful.

Fake crowds, empty words, fear-mongering rhetoric, and finger pointing all the new traits of the GOP.

    • Oh, and for the accuracy of record, Jennifer Olson didn’t post a racist tweet. She posted a picture on Facebook. If you can’t get that right, one does have to question the sincerity of the deep concern you profess over a ‘dumb remark’ or its “real lack of racial sensitivity”. Facts matter, Craig. Please get them straight.

  3. The erudite Mr. Briggs has a never-used Twitter account, a LinkedIn profile, and in 2006, appears to have created an ad on … (wait for it) CruisingForSex.com for “guy that can give regular service weekdays during the day. Must have a place to meet.” Troll.

  4. Almost forgot to add Mr. Briggs’ FB page.

  5. In case he forgot about that time in 2006 when he was was on the DL.

  6. Here’s a pastoral scene out of Madison, Wisonsin taxi-driving Ms. Janet Tessier’s life:
“in May 2002 Madison Taxi driver Janet Tessier was loudly complaining to her boss at an accident scene about the responding officer, summing up his attitude toward her thusly: “What do I know? I’m only a woman.” He placed her in handcuffs.
Tessier’s boss told Isthmus he sympathized with the cop: “The officer took a lot. He really did.
I remain confident that MtCowgirl can attract a better class of troll.
