What no ” all of the above” Box!

If this is the GOP plan of a thousand Paper cuts on the American People in this state, I’d say they are all on their way to making us bleed a river of blood for their corporate masters.

I want to give a shoot out to all the Democratic and sensible GOP that is left in our state congress for trying to be Bipartisan… But it is not enough, The Conservative tea-baggers are worse than last session.

I am Hoping our Guv Steve Bullock made sure to borrow those branding Irons of Brians, because we are gonna need them.

      I meant shout out LOL!

All the Jobs we still need for Montanans in this state, all the people who still need a hand up, and all these jerks can think about is lining their pockets with corporate cash, or nationally being primaried by someone wackier than them!

  2. What about the bill to legalize fake insurance ponzi schemes that pray on religious congregations? SB 181 http://laws.leg.mt.gov/legprd/LAW0210W$BSIV.ActionQuery?P_BILL_NO1=181&P_BLTP_BILL_TYP_CD=SB&Z_ACTION=Find&P_SESS=20131

  3. Seems like something about all of the referenda that this legislature is planning to shove down our throats should their unconstitutional bills be vetoed is worth adding. That being said, I voted for the jungle primary bill.

  4. Best moments have been seeing some bipartisanship and respect for each other. Moments that never could have existed with Schweitzer in office.

Ah yes the smiling and laughing across the Isle whilst Sheriff Nottingham and his merry band Of Bandits pilfer, and threaten the townsfolk of Montana.

The GOP use to be vigilant for Fairness, Now thugs for Corporate big wigs and Property Owners. I use to see this same action in Los Angeles and New York. They call them street Gangs there.

Sectioning off Public Properties for their own Use. Shaking down property owners and Businesses for protection money, Robbing, and drive by shooting the average guy walking down the street.

In those states and others people like that go to jail, but here in Montana the conservatives consider it good Business? Go Figure!

  5. I am ashamed to be a Montanan these days.

Wilmer’s bill HB 327 allowing 16 year olds to become election judges.

Ingy, They can carry a gun in this state, drive a car and go off to a war and die for their country….. I think an election judge is pretty benign.

        Yeah, but they can’t tan.

        Wilmers HB 456.

        • and jerry o’neil says if they don’t graduate from high school then they don’t deserve minimum wage..and can be spanked and choose corporal punishment if they commit a crime…i thought dickens was out of fashion…oh, but the girls have to give birth to children to continue the cycle..and well, no, a hunting rifle in a trunk at school gets the girl expelled, but legislators can carry concealed in the capitol? i am a treehugger who own 8 guns. i don’t believe in violence but i am glad my neighbor who shoots is 5 minutes away, and will protect me. but enough of this. why are we SO antagonistic? i’m done for the night – i am going to plan some more of my garden – i need some sanity – and the pups need some hugs. i was in la during the rodney king riots – why can’t we all get along?

  7. Montana has such a terrific legacy of smart, reasonable lawmaking and representation. We are in serious danger of completely losing this legacy with the destruction of our environmental laws, the weird amendments to our fine state constitution, changes to our labor laws, budgeting, education, you name it. I cannot pick one from this outrageous list. All I can do is let the outside world know what’s happening here and ask for help. Where this know-nothing radical tide that is flooding Montana is coming from, I don’t know. But it is sinister, and I will stand against it until I drown. Our state is too wonderful to lose to a movement, that destroys our heritage, designed by evil overlords to manipulate the mentally ill to follow them like minions.

  8. There does need to be an “all of the above” button. Given the blowup over Olsen’s racist post, the Montana GOP looks like it has set a new bar for stupid this year.

  9. Oh for an all of the above choice. The nutters are in the process of outdoing themselves. But then money talks and …..

  10. Jennifer O'Loughlin | March 1, 2013 10:12 AM at 10:12 AM |

Sorry — I couldn’t pick just one measure — all bad.
Keep up the good work. I rarely see any detailed description of these measures in the paper (the Independent Record — a true rag).

  11. Ed Lieser from the Flathead ROCKS.

  12. Liberals R Loony | March 3, 2013 7:12 AM at 7:12 AM |

Who knew that feigning outrage could be a career path. Carry on you crazy liberals!

    • Larry Kralj, Environmental Rangers. | March 3, 2013 7:45 AM at 7:45 AM |

Who KNEW that no one would read the nutjob nazi websites in Montana? Why? Why is THIS the most popular site in the state, and quite possibly the country? Huh? Huh? Huh?

      Sorry, you lose, loser.

You see, loser, greed, racism, and stoopidity are simply BORING after awhile. You morons got nothing, and it shows!
