UPDATED: Busted! Student comes forward, fingers Olsen

Watermelongate Solved

by Cowgirl

A young conservative says he was friends with the Chair of the Yellowstone County Republican Party, Jennifer Olsen, on Facebook, and that he received Olsen’s racist Facebook post in his news feed. He even took a screenshot of the incident.

Russ Hart, who is a student, also says that he sent Olsen a message questioning her about the offensive photo (showing an animal trap with a watermelon as bait, and entitled as an “Obama trap”), asking her “are you kidding me?” and that Olsen responded “I just couldn’t resist, LOL.”

He has presented the evidence to Adrian Jawort of the Billings Outpost. Jawort was the first print reporter to break the story.  It ran in the Billings Outpost, Montana’s leading independent weekly, several days before the Gazette ran a piece online and in the Saturday paper.

The lastest development was revealed today in The Outpost print edition which is (UPDATEnow online.  Good Job, Adrian. Outpost editor David Crisp also has some good commentary on the whole debacle on the Billings Blog.

This would suggest that Olsen, head of the Yellowstone County Republican Party, is full of crap (as we have all suspected she is) when she makes her vague allegation that the photo might have been posted to her account without her authority.

It was Hart who sent the screenshot of the whole incident to Nicole French who runs the Montanafesto blog, who published it two weeks ago but, like a good ethical journalist, refused to reveal her source even as she was taking incoming fire, from many Republicans including Olsen.   Now the source (Hart) is talking publicly.  French thus appears to be vindicated. Olsen had accused her of “fabricating” the screenshot.

The Yellowstone County GOP, meanwhile, has claimed that it will not take action against Olsen until it has “completed an investigation” of the matter.  But you will excuse me for chortling at the image of an “investigation” mounted by a bunch of Tea Partiers walking around wearing sidearms.

You can read the full story here for now. :)

  2. It comes as no surprise that the Montana GOP would rather attempt to slander Montanafesto than simply admit a lapse in judgement. Further, I do not expect that there will ever be any action against Olsen or an apology to Ms. French. If I wasn’t already sour on the Montana GOP, I would be now. Nicole is a great woman and she has constantly tried to do the right thing while holding onto her Conservative beliefs. I salute her attempt to swim upstream against the current of idiotic behavior of the Montana Republicans.

Well. The way Facebook is set-up you knew she was the one who shared the photo. you knew she lied, and she had enough friends in the Yellowstone party who were prive to it, and commented on it as something funny….

But what gets my goat is she plastered Nicole’s information on the web in retaliation for telling the truth…. That makes her a sick human being who should be kicked out of any political group!

The right to privacy for Nicole was taken away, because she was a good journalist and fine upstanding citizen of the community.

That goes to show you how sick the Tea-Party has become also. All the times they say they follow the constiution…. bullshit!
One of their Goofy leaders showed us how much they value what the founding fathers put to paper about the rights to privacy…. they dont give a rats ass!

  4. Kudos to Russ Hart for recognizing this racist post for what it is. And for taking some action and responsibility. Ms. Olsen and the rest of the “circle the wagons” gang could learn some things about honesty, integrity, responsibility and accountability from him.

Nicole French vindicated! Great news! Does THIS mean that we can expect a new episode of Assholes Shrugged with eric and Jennifer oilscum and their Teatard pals?

Unfortunately no. For you see lying for JAYSUS is what the inbred Teatardians are all about! Right, eric? jen?

What these two inbred morons have managed to accomplish with their racist lies is to elevate one of the best Republican writers in the state to national status. And for that, I want to send my very personal, heartfelt thanks to Assholes Shrugged founders, eric and jen OILscum! You did it! You made Assholes Shrugged famous along with Nicole French! And like ms. oilscum herself says, “no press is BAD press”!!!……..unless your an oilscum!

Go ahead, Oilscums, make my day, for you already did!

    And I thank you!

p.s. I wonder if eric oilscum wants to sue ME too along with Nicole? I sure HOPE so!

    • Larry Kralj, Environmental Rangers. | February 28, 2013 3:33 PM at 3:33 PM |

p.s. At this point I must ask a philosophical question of all the learned folk who inhabit this forum. Is it right to make fun of such inbred teatards the way we do? Oh sure, it’s a WHOLE lot of fun. But do we compile bad karma for pointing out what assholes these folks are? I dunno. All I know is that it SURE IS FUN AS HELL THOUGH!

      • This is the kind of attitude that keeps good people from doing the right thing, Larry.

        • Thank you Russ for doing the right thing and for having the courage to speak up. Gives me great hope for the next generation. It’s good to see that there are some principled conservatives out there.

        • Larry Kralj, Environmental Rangers. | February 28, 2013 5:51 PM at 5:51 PM |

Russ, ya lost me on that comment. What kind of attitude are you referring to?

          • I get what he’s writing, Larry. If you make it about ‘all’s fair in war’, than trying to do the right thing becomes an escalation of hostilities. Most people do and will avoid that, for good reason.

            • Larry Kralj, Environmental Rangers. | February 28, 2013 6:38 PM at 6:38 PM |

Sorry, but I disagree. You see, we ALL have a stake in this latest incident. I for one am damn sick and tired of reetards like the Oilscums attracting national attention with their racist remarks and beliefs. Hell, we ALL live here, and we can all live without the negative publicity that these morons generate. They should and must be condemned in the harshest terms possible.

We have gone way too far down this road already, from sen. cornhole burns’s n*gger jokes, to the freemen, militia morons, white supremnits, pastord bulbdim, etc., and all the rest. It’s time to put a stop to coddling the racists among us.

If a few feelings get hurt along the way, I say tuff noogies. Maybe they shouldn’t’a been racist assholes to begin with. Hell, if attacking racists deters “good people” from coming forward, I wonder how good they were to begin with.

And the market place of ideas ain’t bean bag. The nazis figured that one out long ago.

              • Larry Kralj, Environmental Rangers. | February 28, 2013 6:50 PM at 6:50 PM |

Here’s some good people coming forward as we speak! Heck, OUR state lege proposed this one long ago. And prior to that, there was that resolution by abyn Curtis, one of our founding mothers of wingnut Montana! I think the good people NEED/DESERVE/REQUIRE a wee bit of pushback. But that’s just me.

              • I’m not saying that you’re wrong, Larry. I just think you ought to give Russ’ viewpoint a fair review.

                • Larry Kralj, Environmental Rangers. | February 28, 2013 7:50 PM at 7:50 PM |

Rob, that is exactly why I asked Russ to clarify his comments. I really couldn’t understand what he’s getting at. He is at this point a hero, albeit apparently a reluctant one. I hope he sticks around. I hope he’s not implying that he would not do the right thing again simply because some folks used their free speech rights to have a little fun at the Oilscum’s expense. You see, I happen to think that both eric and Jennifer oilscum are idiots. And I’m not lying when I say that I personally know TONS of folks who are ex-Republicans. I count many of them among my closest friends. I do NOT like to see what has happened to the Pubbie party. Hell, I was raised probably MORE conservative than any of these assholes. But I didn’t STAY retarded and racist as they have.

p.s. And Nicole French surely shoots his theory all to hell. Nicole IS a good person, and she DID the right thing, and said to HELL with the consequences, and stood tall! I believe that there ARE good people that will come forward regardless of what other people think of them. Nicole has JUST AS MUCH right to call herself a Republican and protect HER party as do the Oilscums! Too bad so sad that the Oilscums can’t accept that and are trying to destroy her.

Let the word go out that the Oilscums do NOT speak for the majority of Montanans when the spout their racist horseshit over the airwaves.

True story. When I was living in Billings many years ago, gangs were first starting to appear there. And in order to be accepted into the gang, the prospective member had to undergo a initiation procedure. Part of that was to commit a felony. Hence, we had many stupid armed robberies there for awhile.

And similarly, PART of the initiation into becoming a Teatard is to project, even though you may later deny it, your racist creds! THAT is exactly what Jennifer oilscum has done! Oh sure, she can deny to hell and high water that SOMEone hacked her account. But, (wink, wink), the OTHER teatard reetards get the message! She’s a made teatard racist broad!

They are sick, twisted people! Oh and liars too. Did I mention that? They are liars. Says sumthin’ about their “character”, or lack there-of. Kinda like gettin’ a BJ from a 21 yr. old, only worse!

                  They’re scum, OILscum!

              • Larry- The way that you use offensive language, especially that which degrades the mentally disabled, is no better than this racist garbage from people like Jennifer. You should be ashamed of yourself for the way that you use the “r” word and your ignorant variations of it. If you think you’re any better than Jennifer, you are wildly wrong. You’re both so, so pathetic.

Crow, please don’t use the term “mentally disabled”, for I find that term highly offensive……..

You see, I prefer the term mentally republican. It’s an acceptable euphemism!

                  Hope this helps.

                  • You are a sick person. Troll or not, the things you say are disgusting and far from entertaining or funny.

I forgive you because that’s just the way I am!

                      Lk. 6.3738, 4142
1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.

2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. Mk. 4.24

3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.

6 ¶ Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

p.s. Crow, did you happen to read the best seller by Eban Alexander, Proof of Heaven,

It’s a truly fascinating read. And the part I found MOST fascinating was that he found humor in heaven! Seems that God LOVES humor as much as we do! Ain’t that sumhtin’? And kinda what I suspected all along. Too bad the Bible is so damn stodgy! If God would have allowed a chapter by the Blues Brothers, perhaps there would have been a more receptive modern audience to the Word, doncha think?

        • Russ, don’t ever doubt it. You absolutely did the right thing. It is a shame that Olsen and the committee didn’t handle it better, but that is on them, not on you. You have my thanks and respect.

        • Larry Kralj, Environmental Rangers. | February 28, 2013 9:31 PM at 9:31 PM |

Here, Russ, some music to motivate your soul! Hey, are you related to Ray Hart? Hell, that dude used to down a bottle of wine before running the Beartooth Run some thirty-five, forty years ago! Hell, he used to smoke a big cigar before the race too! He had some very unorthodox training methods, but they seemed to work just fine. That was back in the old days when there where just a few of us dudes that ran that thing. Those were the good old days for sure.

        • Thank you, Russ, for coming forward. We as a country have too much work to do to solve the problems of 2013. We shouldn’t have to spend our time dealing with Ms. Olsen’s 1950’s era ignorance and racial prejudice. The Yellowstone Co. GOP should replace her with you:)

From the christians good book a little about Liars. Matthew 7:21-23
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.

You see, Jesus was a pretty smart guy for a jewish guy!

        • Norma Duffy @Ilikewoods | February 28, 2013 4:12 PM at 4:12 PM |

Continue Larry, looks like your quite covered: Ephesians 5:11
Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.

      • As a science nerd, I would suggest following the research. Conflict does create in many an extremely painful response and provokes not bemusement but maladaptive strategies for conflict avoidance. I think most of us recognize your comments as a useful confederate in a diverse and tolerant discussion. In other words – be authentic, Larry. We’re intelligent and progressive adults. And as for Jesus? As a long practicing (and long suffering) Catholic, I can tell you Jesus is unafraid of examination and urges followers to be so courageous.

I try, NE. Didja ever see that Jim Carrey movie where the guy couldn’t help himself and he had to tell the truth no matter what? THAS ME! I simply must call’em as I see’em! SOMEbody has to do it! I try not to sugar coat the TRVTH beyond recognition. Why should I? Politics ain’t my style and politeness ain’t my creed. Hell, that’s what the nazis always preach when they’re gettin’ their asses kicked! They whine about how uncivil the meanie lefties are!

I simply put the TRVTH out there and let others do with it what they will. And I let the chips fall where they may. Heck, folks can simply choose to ignore what I write. That’s fine.

But to me, the TRVTH is SO important, that I use it as a blunt instrument. I do not perform brain surgery with it. I use it as a tool to knock a patient out! And maybe when they wake up, they’ll be cured!

But you see, NE, there is no longer a fourth estate in this country, so it’s left up to us eccentrics, weirdos, outcasts, fringe dwellers, ne’er-do-wells, and crazies to do what newspapers in this country USED to do!

          And that’s real sad.

Just one more comment on Watermelongate before I move on, and it’s this. Poor widdle racist jennifer oilscum inSISTS that there are “hundreds” of inbred Pubbies that have written to her saying that they support her. Well then, LET’S HAVE THEIR NAMES! How ’bout a list?!

You see, if the inbreds REALLY feel THAT strongly in their support for ms. oilscum, are they willing to put their names out there so the ENTIRE STATE can see who they are, or are they simply closet racist inbreds who run and HIDE instead of wearing their racist creds proudly? Well, I report, you decide. Cowardly hiders or proud racists?! Which IS it, Yellowstone ReePube Party? Did you dudes put the YELLOW in Yellowstone?, or did you put the stones in Yellowstone by publicly showing your stones? Own UP to your party’s ideals!

Not in OUR town, remember? Well, maybe now!

Got stones? Come ON, Yellowstone ReePubes! Show us your nuts! Oh wait, that didn’t come out quite right!

Watermelongate, or fun with Pubbies again!

  9. Time for Olsen to resign. Yesterday. The Yellowstone GOP is only confirming its agreement with Olsen if she remains the group’s leader. Perhaps this is their intent. If so, I guess at least now we know what they really stand for.

    • Larry Kralj, Environmental Rangers. | March 1, 2013 9:37 AM at 9:37 AM |

HEY, Jeff, lest we forget! One of the Oilscum’s proudest achievements is their belief that they helped elect LOTS of ReePubes! I mean, who can say that Jumbo Jimmy Knoxious wasn’t a real asset to the party! A real treasure! Assholes Shrugged should be very proud!

It’s over of the Pubbies in Billings. They’ve made their brand. No, it’s not the VETO brand like Shcweitzer had. It’s a double aught IQ, or .00IQ, after the two numbskulls of Assholes Shrugged!

bwahhahahaahahahahaaa! Now, they’ve gotta live with that!

But HEY, tommy, MAYbe if your Morons didn’t insist that you need TEN freakin’ kids to get into heaven, there MIGHT just be enough to go around! Ever think about THAT, you Moron asshole?

Shouldn’t you be on a mission or sumthin’??

Yes, I make fun of made up religions like Moronism, and will continue to do so until someone provides me with certain details.

First, provide me with a list of the great, famous Moron thinkers and theologians who has substantially ADDED to our knowledge of religious discourse! Or ethics! Or Anything!

Second, provide of list of all Moron martyrs who died for their cause.

Third, make a list of ALL the great Book of Moron quotations as used in ANY public speech!

Fourth, is SPITE of all its faults, the Catholic Church did a lot of good by providing hospitals, schools, training, etc., for folks who could NOT afford it, even though they weren’t Catholic. Where is the Moron equivalent????

For you see, nurse gonzo, I FAIL to see any merit in the arguments of a moronic Moron like widdle tommy burnut ranting about not seeing any hungry people in America. Sorry, but this dude is an idiot who NEEDS to be called out! And hence, I did. He is a product of his religeeous beliefs! Now, is it so wrong to point that out????

I susPECT that maybe widdle tommy burnut done went without flogging thy holy mule just a leetle too long, thusly turning him into the idiot he is today! How ’bout it, tommy? Did thy or did thy NOT chokest thy chicken whiles’t on your mission? Tell the truth now. Spill the beans about spillin’ your seed!

That’s what YOU know, dipshit! Drinking at ANY time is good as long as you’re a working man, dink. Never worked a real job in your pathetic LIFE, have ya, loser. Ya see, if you’re in the trades, a hod carrier say, or any other REAL job, you get sore muscles! And there’s NUTHIN’ that beats sore muscles like a beer!

But you wouldn’t know. Hey, are you a hair dresser??? Like Mikey Lang???

Didja ever bust a nail puttin’ up a permin’ a lady’s hair? Well, dufus, then you deserve a beer! Or two!

In my horse-breaking days it was a good medicinal product for aching Muscles as well. Nothing like downing a few shots of Bushmills at 10 am every morning right after we feed the horses….the hard part of the day was done. But we started at four in the morning you see.

Not only that, I used to nebulize the horses that had trouble breathing with vodka, and a few of my pickier eaters got a glass of red wine or a bottle of bud in their food nightly.

People forget the medicinal properties of a good stiff drink once in a while!

And the stake Horses who made our barn hundreds of thousands of dollars per race…. their legs were rubbed down in wild turkey, or moonshine every night before bandaging.

Our barn smelled like a brewery every evening!

Forty some years ago, back in the early days of ultra marathon running, hell, EVERY runner I knew drank as much beer as I did! We thought nothing of it! Beer is a great complement and supplement to hard, physical work or training. In fact, it used to be at the Hawaii Marathon, they used to have beer at the AID stations because it was so hot! Beer helped prevent cramps in the heat!

Nope, nothing WRONG with drinking beer at ANY time of the day as long as one has put in their miles, or work! THIS is something that a dipshit like JDink wouldn’t know!

And the greatest runners on earth, the Tarahumara Indians of Mexico, drink homemade beer CONSTANTLY! And so do the Sherpas in the Himalayas!

JDink doesn’t have a clue. But then, he doesn’t WANT one! Ignorance is bliss, and he seems a VERY blissful dude!

            • Well Larry I worked construction for ten years when I graduated from high school back in the seventies, and the only people who drank on the job were alchies. They were quickly run off due insurance and liability issues. ( I don’t think I would want to be working near a scaffold with a hod carrier who’s downed a few beers for his sore muscles). Ever heard of aspirin or Tylenol? The competent construction workers I worked with sure did.
Well we know your views on drinking and driving, but thanks for sharing what you think about drinking and working.

I guess in some circles it’s okay to call people the r word….none that I would run in but hey, if you like looking like a fool, go for it. Just try and understand you don’t speak for the party and rhetoric like that does nothing to further any cause cause except intolerance.

                • Re=those of the earth hater party. tard=hoist with his own pe.

                  The “R” word???

Racism Is a disease… that is taught…. it is not a dirty word itself, but a lesson of hate that needs to be taken out since its conception in politics during the 1950’s.

Since its drunken power was allowed by the old testament, never considering the words of a supposed son of God words later in its supposed history.

People like you who are not willing to use the word, in its proper context, are part of the problem. Your allowing people of one color to hold power over another because of color….

According to Sam Tanenhaus, editor of The New York Times Book Review, conservatism is headed nowhere good. This, he maintains, is because modern American movement conservatism originated in the 1950s in a political doctrine poisoned by racism. And even though conservatives have enthusiastically elected young leaders who come from minority groups –including Sens. Ted Cruz of Texas and Marco Rubio of Florida, and Govs. Nikki Haley of South Carolina and Bobby Jindal of Louisiana — the GOP remains in the grip of that poisonous doctrine.
The article was emblazoned with the incendiary but fitting headline “Original Sin: Why the GOP is and will continue to be the party of white people”

If even the last of good Republicans, can see it, and speak against it… so should we as democrats consider never shutting up until the last of its hateful vestiges are burnt to the ground.

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.
                  Martin Luther King, Jr.

                  • I wasn’t speaking to racism Norma. I was speaking to the use of the ugly word “retard.” That is a dirty word itself and does nothing but breed intolerance. But it seems Larry can justify anything to himself.

                    • Norma Duffy @Ilikewoods | March 6, 2013 9:48 AM at 9:48 AM |

That comment was after yours on Racism and spelled out to incorporate Repugs not the other way around. Do I and others look like fools to you…. Really?

So your another person who cant remember what you say and when you said it, but we must be polite to people who call our president a Kenyan Socialist Hitler?

Somehow your not even in the same country with your criticisms Stanch!

                    • Norma, for the second time, I never addressed racism or calling someone a racist. I addressed using the word “retard”. You are starting to look like a fool, yes, when you for the second time can’t or won’t understand that simple fact.

                    • Norma Duffy @Ilikewoods | March 6, 2013 1:01 PM at 1:01 PM |

Right????? Hahaha The R Word! Larrys Re= Tard= Came after you initial comment of the R word, your Post speaks to it,,,, but go ahead and tell whatever story you wish!

                      Sad story though! Barely plausable!

                    • His February 28th post, at 7:50 came after my post on March 5 at 5:05? And now you unequivocally look like a fool.
And how many other times has he spewed this tripe to denigrate those he disagrees with?
You are right about one thing though…this is sad.

                    • You need help Staunch….just saying!

Your continued lying of the facts prove it.

                    • Norma, I respect your opinion but the simple fact is that you are wrong here and your attempts to try and back up a man that uses such a vile and unexcusable word are reprehensible and pathetic. Larry Kralj used the word a week before I posted on it, so please explain to me where I lied and why you persist on mocking me for calling Larry out on it.

                    • Norma Duffy @Ilikewoods | March 7, 2013 8:47 AM at 8:47 AM |

I see it took you days to come up with this excuse and you choose not to say anything till now???

Please! Nice try though, If I was an Fox Idiot I might have believed you…….

                    • Norma, you lost me. I’ve been saying the same thing since the 5th. I’m not making any sort of excuse. I’m simply explaining to you my position…then for some reason you call me a liar. You thought I meant racist when I first posted, what I really meant was the word “retard.” I don’t know how I can make that any clearer.
A simple question at the heart of the matter. Do you think it is appropriate for a person to use the word “retard” in any discussion or argument? A simple yes or no will suffice.

Hey, Stank, get some kind hearted soul to POP your anal glands for ya, dude, instead of draggin’ your sorry ass all over the forum! You got sumthin’ to say, Stank, or are you just passin’ gas while passin’ through?! Glen Beck? Really? Show me where I erred in my opinions. It’s all fact, dude. All fact. Everything I post is the TRVTH! You very much remind me of my Pom when she needs her anal glands popped!

                  • Do what you want with your dog. Leave me out of it.

                      Pop, pop……….

Hey, dipstick, YOU showed up here to criticize ME! So, I opined what I thought of YOUR criticism of ME! Sorry you don’t like that, but that’s kinda what happens to assholes who criticize others!

                      Hope this helps!

                    • Sorry you got all butt hurt over someone pointing out the simple truth…that you are indeed a doosh that gets his rocks off insulting people. If you don’t like being called on it, attempt a grown up conversation without the flame throwing rhetoric. I happen to agree with most of your opinions, but I don’t agree with how you choose frame those opinions.

                    • Larry Kralj, Environmental Rangers. | March 6, 2013 8:17 PM at 8:17 PM |

                      Me? Butt hurt??

No, Stank. A reetard like you shows up here every once in awhile, get’s their ass handed to them, and then moves on.

But HEY, little fella, you tried. Now you can tell your buddies that you got your ass kicked by the best!

                      An remember, pop pop!

See ya, Stank. Come back when you have an opinion on something other than me.

                    • You’re what passes for the best?
And please tell me precisely when you handed me anything except immature ad hominem attacks…oh wait, I don’t care.

  13. “GOP” and the phrase, “moral values” in the same sentence?? Give us a break.

Danged if Mr. Bill don’t nail it again! And no, Bill, I’m not following the Legislature as closely as I should. For you see, after many years of doing so, and testifying, and just generally raising hell, I’ve taken some time off to simply observe and watch the fun. Hell, it’s gotta run its course anyway. Nuthin’s gonna stop it unTIL the crazy shit STOPS hitting the fan! And I don’t see that happening anytime soon. We’s in for a wild ride!
