  1. So, will Steve ‘Shutdown’ Daines want to wave his ‘flag’ to run into Iraq with the crazy ‘baggers’ and neo-con Corporate ilk he worships or not? THAT’s the Number One question to be asked of Daines….do YOU believe in the Bush/Cheney CON JOB and would YOU put our troops and treasure at risk – AGAIN? I think John Walsh is the GUY to ask Daines THAT particular question AND every veteran, servicemembers and their families..and by the WAY, does the GOP TRULY believe in funding the VA, because even in the REAGAN days (remember when 243 Marines were BLOWN up because of low security in Beirut, 1983 and NO screams then, but then Reagan and OLLIE NORTH were dealing with terrorists and the Iranians in CONTRA-IRAN gate, far more damagint to US national security and credibility when compared to a tragic embassy attack in Libya.)…and many, many veterans lost faith
in the VA even then, and I was one of them.

    • Not sure why this is even an issue for Montana and the Senate contest. The events in Iraq are going to continue unfolding under Obama’s leadership while the press snaps picture of him playing golf. So long as Obama continues politically poll testing every one of his leadership moments before selecting his most politically palatable option, don’t expect any courageous decision making that honors the service and sacrifices of our Iraq veterans. To sum up, I don’t care what Walsh or Daines thinks or says on this matter as it is irrelevant to Obama acting as CIC and President at a very defining moment in history. The clock is ticking…..

SWOOSH! Another swing and a miss! Like always. Here, craig, allow me to help you a bit with your talking points, for as they are now, they’re laffable! What you SHOULD have said is…..

“Look at that black dude playing golf while neglecting his duties. I mean, after all, HE’S BLACK! It’s his responsibility and duty to clean UP after the white guy. It’s what blacks have traditionally DONE in this country, and I’m a traditional values kinda guy!”

There, that otter do it! Truth in propaganda I call it.

Hopes this helps. I’m always trying to reach across the aisle and help the Pubbies whenever I can. That’s just the kind of guy I am!

        • Rob is absolutely right about you. Seek help.

        • Let’s not forget ‘Dubya’s ‘Golf fetish’ and he spent a LOT more hours on the links, demonstrating how ‘bad ass’ he was with his driver hitting those balls while Dick ‘Darth Vader’ Cheney led Bush around by the nose with the neo-con chickenhawk parasites…..

  2. General Walsh was the top-dog in the Montana National guard and this happened on his watch. Why did General Walsh send his/our soldiers into battle with only plywood as protection? To bring this up and some how pass the blame to Daines is a joke.

  3. I may have underestimated Walsh.

Problem with the ad is that MOST of us are not worried about gettin’ our balls blown off in Iraq. Rather, we’re worried about gettin’ our balls blown off by guys like wishy walshy who want to do away with social security! KaBOOM! There go our balls! Wishy walshy needs to put some frickin’ metal underneath the seats of our social security!, instead of handing them to the Kockh brothers & co.!

What’s WRONG with the dude? I don’t get it. Could someone from Butte please tell me just HOW this “dem” from Butte decided that social security must be privatized??

What demographic is this ad designed for? You see, Iraq is basically old news, and the righties who luv the military/patriotic fetish crap ain’t gonna vote for wishy walshy ANY way! So why do this ad? Talk about sumthin’ relevant. MOST people are now very war weary and don’t really want to be reminded of Lil’ Georgie’s Orgy of Slaughter for Haliburton and Big Oil! Enuff is enuff. Iraq is old news. Try some new news!

Get new handlers, wishy walshy! These boys you got now must be from the dipshit daines camp!

    • Larry, have you ever encountered the phrase “self-defeating”?

      • Larry Kralj, Environmental Rangers | June 19, 2014 8:33 PM at 8:33 PM |

Nope. Wishy walsh is an idiot. He’s an embarrassment. Is he really the best that the Dims could come up with? BTW, I watched his little speech on the senate floor. The guy is a freakin’ GENERAL and he can’t pronounce the word “heinous”??? Jesus. What a joke. And I’m not sure that I can vote for a moron who calls for the privatizations of social security. Might as well let the populace suffer even more! That’s probably the only thing that will wake people up, but I’m not betting on it. It’s basically over, so why pretend that it isn’t? Wishy walsh IS an idiot. Don’t take much to advance in the military. He’s Forrest Gump!

Can you say sen. dipshit daines???

      • Rob, I hear the fear-based voter speaking again, that no matter what a loser Walsh is (and an unknown quantity anyway, most likely a cloaked right-winger), well, he’s not Daines! He’s not Daines!

My god you Dems need a cold shower, so that next time around you don’t throw these bland sycophants at our feet and tell us that not voting for them is harmful.

Be proactive, give us good choices, watch how we respond!

        • ‘Can’t help what the voices in your head tell you, Mark. You see, it’s about issues, not people. Social Security is in absolutely no danger from either Daines or Walsh. Many other things are, more so with Daines than with Walsh. Still, as I’ve written many many times, it doesn’t really matter who gets elected to the Senate. That body is irrevocably broken; our House of Lords simply doesn’t work.

Remember, Mark, I didn’t vote for Walsh. And since you love to confuse behavior with issues, I was simply asking Larry if he understands how self-defeating his behavior is, when it acyually comes to issues.

No danger? Well, save this post. If the Pubbies take the senate-and they probably will-everything is on the table and in play. The very first things they go after will be social security and public lands. And then, they move on to a revision of the tax system to benefit the wealthy and corporations. After that, they gut education and the EPA, all the while killing any regulation. It’s what they’ve been preaching for thirty years now. Do you really think that they’ll have a change of heart? I don’t.

  5. Shameless emotionalism, probably a lie to boot.

  6. Walsh is toast. Why bother promoting or berating him. As for the house race, its Zinke’s if he doesn’t screw it up, which he might, but its his to lose.

Kinda sad, really, when a WOMAN has more nuts and moxie than a weekend warrior general from Butte! I give you Elizabeth Warren, a TRUE warrior. You see, a true warrior fights for their people when they need to, and when not fighting, they stand down and live life. What they DON’T do is suck off the gummint cammo tit their whole lives while SCREWING over the tribe, like gen wishy walshy does.

“This is a fight over values. Conservatives and their powerful friends will continue to be guided by their age-old principle: “I’ve got mine, the rest of you are on your own.” But we’re guided by principle too… We all do better when we work together and invest in our future.

“…We believe that Wall Street needs stronger rules and tougher enforcement… We believe no one should work full-time and live in poverty, and that means raising the minimum wage… We believe people should retire with dignity, and that means strengthening Social Security… We believe that a kid should have a chance to go to college without getting crushed by debt … We believe workers have a right to come together, to bargain together and to rebuild America’s middle class… We believe in equal pay for equal work …. We believe equal means equal, and that’s true in the workplace and in marriage, true for all our families…

These are our shared values. And we are willing to fight for them.”

    Elizabeth Warren

“we needs to privatize social security because it’s heeeneus”,

Gen. Weekend weak kneed warrior wishy walshy!

Hey, genny wishy walshy, you a big hit in the bars in Butte with your bullshit???

Jus’ wonderin’. But please, answer one question. You’re supposedly from Butte. How much time did your ancestors spend underground in the mines? Not much I’d say, judgin’ from a limpo like you!! You REALLY want to privatize social security?? From the gummint cammo tit to the Kockhroach tit! We USED to call that the copper collar. Now, we just call it the Kockh collar! Does it fit OK for you?????
Butte people don’t forget their history.
