Steve Wynn’s Defenders: Daines and Gianforte – You Cannot Shame the Shameless

Steve Wynn, the embattled Republican National Committee Finance Chairman, is a disgusting person. Steve Wynn is accused of multiple sexual assaults, forcing woman to have sex with him, and pressuring his employees to perform sex acts. Wynn’s statement is the typical shameful republican response to sexual assault allegations; “The idea that I ever assaulted any woman is preposterous.” Sounds like Roy Moore’s response to numerous allegations from many accusers.

And Steve Daines response sounds exactly like he did after the Roy Moore story broke.

Equally disgusting and shameful, are the actions by the RNC and the Republican candidates who will not disassociate themselves from Steve Wynn and his money. Both Senator Steve Daines and Represenative Greg Gianforte have taken large campaign donations from Steve Wynn, Gianforte got his donation the day after he assaulted a reporter.

What’s most shameful is that both these men are multimillionaires. They have enough money to self-fund their own campaigns, Gianforte self-financed two failed campaigns to the tune of $8 million. Giving back these tainted donations from Wynn would be nothing to their bottom line, but therein lies the real shamefulness behind the modern day Republican Party

The all mighty dollar. This is the only thing Republicans care about, how much money they have, how much more money they can make, and how much more money they can give to the 1%.

Luke 12:15: “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.”

Everything else in this world does not matter to the modern-day Republican Party. They are devoid of reason, compassion, empathy, or morality. They have no shame for their actions. When they are shown the truth, they lie for their own benefit. For Republicans, to do the right thing, that only means giving more money away to the wealthy, building a larger estate for themselves, and damning the rest of the nation.

Luke 12:16-21: “The land of a rich man produced abundantly. And he thought to himself, ‘What should I do, for I have no place to store my crops?’ ‘I will do this: I will pull down my barns and build larger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods. And I will say to my soul, ‘Soul, you have ample goods laid up for many years; relax, eat, drink, be merry.’ But God said to him, ‘You fool! The things you have prepared, whose will they be?’ So it is with those who store up treasures for themselves but are not rich toward God.”

No one can convince Republicans into doing the right thing.  The people of this country cannot even meet with our Republican leaders to express our concerns and convince them to do the right thing. Only money moves these people and they aren’t about to give any back.

Corinthians 6:10: “Nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.”

The Republican party we see today are thieves in our country. They are greedy for their own self-gain. They are drunk with power controlling Washington and most state legislatures. They are slanderous to anyone who disagrees with them, and to the women who claim to be sexually assaulted. And, they have swindled our tax dollars to only benefit the wealthy.

  1. Absolutely perfect summation of the republican party right now (most of the time). “Drunk with power” hits it on the head. thank you

  2. These guys are just a bunch of horny old men. They are so damned ugly they must pay women to jack them off..

  3. Matthew 19:24
“Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”

I’ve often thought that this piece of scripture alone shows more of the inherent blasphemy and hypocrisy found in not only the religious/alt-right but the GOP as a whole. The current state of both Christianity and the GOP are merely variations of the same long con (cut to Rev. Joel Olsteen chortling to the masses in prayer…”only if you give can you expect to receive…camera shifts to Trump bombastically shouting “I alone can make America great again”) and it is lapped up greedily without question by the hapless, bumbling middle America set…who which all of our Red brothers and sisters here in Montucky belong. In the corner shadows, businessmen Danes and Gianforte wink and nod to one another gleefully, as the lambs dutifully line up for shearing.

  4. It is so true they are destroying our one and only planet. Rolling back regulations to keep us safe. All in the name of greed.

  5. You guys contribute to Bill or Hillary’s campaign?
